Examples of YARDS in a Sentence
Keep the country's best interest in mind and have the courage to do what you can do, in our system of government, it's not about Hail Mary passes. It's the Woody Hayes school of football -- three yards and a cloud of dust. Three yards and a cloud of dust. It's a slow, methodical process.
I want to reach whatever potential I can, so I dont have a (goal) for however many yards or average yards per carry, because the thing is, if my team needs me to run down the clock in the fourth quarter and Im getting a bunch of 1-yard gains, Im fine with that and Im happy with that. I dont really care what it might look like at the very end on the stat line.
I flew it by him 25 yards, i have gotten a lot more speed in the offseason. That really bothered him. So the 14th hole is a dogleg right to left. I guess he really hammered one. Had I known that he was going to make a big deal about it, I would have swung a fraction harder and put it past him.
