  1. Tara

Tara or Ārya Tārā, also known as Jetsun Dolma in Tibetan Buddhism, is a female Bodhisattva in Mahayana Buddhism who appears as a female Buddha in Vajrayana Buddhism. She is known as the "mother of liberation", and represents the virtues of success in work and achievements. In Japan she is known as Tara Bosatsu, and little-known as Duōluó Púsà in Chinese Buddhism. Tara is a tantric meditation deity whose practice is used by practitioners of the Tibetan branch of Vajrayana Buddhism to develop certain inner qualities and understand outer, inner and secret teachings about compassion and emptiness. Tara is actually the generic name for a set of Buddhas or bodhisattvas of similar aspect. These may more properly be understood as different aspects of the same quality, as bodhisattvas are often considered metaphoric for Buddhist virtues. The most widely known forms of Tārā are: ⁕Green Tārā, known as the Buddha of enlightened activity ⁕White Tārā, also known for compassion, long life, healing and serenity; also known as The Wish-fulfilling Wheel, or Cintachakra ⁕Red Tārā, of fierce aspect associated with magnetizing all good things

Examples of TARA in a Sentence

  1. Dean Baquet:

Kavanaugh was already in a public forum in a large way. Kavanaughs status as a Supreme Court justice was in question because of a very serious allegation. And, when I say in a public way, I dont mean in the public way of Tara Reades. If you ask the average person in America, they didnt know about the Tara Reade case, so I thought, in that case, if The New York Times was going to introduce this to readers, we needed to introduce it with some reporting and perspective. Kavanaugh was in a very different situation. It was a live, ongoing story that had become the biggest political story in the country. It was just a different news judgment moment.

  2. Marianne Baker:

In all my years working for Senator Joe Biden, I never once witnessed, or heard of, or received, any reports of inappropriate conduct, period -- not from Ms. Tara Reade, not from anyone. I have absolutely no knowledge or memory of Ms. Reade's accounting of events, which would have left a searing impression on me as a woman professional, and as a manager, these clearly false allegations are in complete contradiction to both the inner workings of our Senate office and to the man I know and worked so closely with for almost two decades.

  3. Dennis Toner:

These clearly false allegations are in complete contradiction to both the inner workings of our Senate office and to the man I know and worked so closely with for almost two decades. i clearly would remember if we -- that is, if Tara and myself -- had any kind of conversation regarding sexual harassment allegations, let alone something involving Sen. Biden. It would stick in my mind. It would be burned in my mind.

  4. Madeleine Dupont:

When we were young, 100 %, my mom was always like, ‘ Now we need curling-free time. Tara Peterson ca n’t talk about curling all the time, ’ now we all live separate places, so it’s not a problem anymore. But it’s still hard to just leave it at the rink.

  5. Dennis Toner:

What could perceivably be there ? A report from whatever office Tara claims to have reported this to but yet, that office -- no one -- has come forward with any document whatsoever ? it's politics, period.
