  1. QUERO

The village of Quero - Province of Belluno North Italy was a Roman military out-post atop of a hill and can be reached by the original Roman road from Il Ponte Tegorzo on the border of the Province of Treviso and Belluno . The Roman name was Quorum or round (rotunda) assembly point. Quorum means an assembly of a minimum of four persons to make official any meeting. There are derivations on the number required for a quorum in modern times. Similarly, Quarantina was first used by the Romans (quarantine) to isolate people and goods for 40 days to allow any viruses or pests to incubate or breed. If you outlasted the 40 days you were clear to proceed into the Roman Empire. I love Italy and the people.
