MSNBC
MSNBC is an American news cable and satellite television network that provides news coverage and political commentary from NBC News on current events. MSNBC is owned by the NBCUniversal News Group, a unit of the NBCUniversal Television Group division of NBCUniversal (all of which are ultimately owned by Comcast). MSNBC and its website were founded in 1996 under a partnership between Microsoft and General Electric's NBC unit, hence the network's naming. Although they had the same name, msnbc.com and MSNBC maintained separate corporate structures and news operations. msnbc.com was headquartered on the Microsoft campus in Redmond, Washington while MSNBC operated out of NBC's headquarters in New York City. Microsoft divested its stakes in the MSNBC channel in 2005 and in msnbc.com in July 2012. The general news site was rebranded as NBCNews.com, and a new msnbc.com was created as the online home of the cable channel. In the late summer of 2015, MSNBC revamped its programming; the moves were in sharp contrast to previous programming decisions at the network. MSNBC sought to sharpen its news image by entering into a dual editorial relationship with its organizational parent NBC News. MSNBC Live, the network's flagship daytime news platform, was expanded to cover over eight hours of the day.Phil Griffin is the president and director of day-to-day operations at MSNBC. Pat Burkey, Janelle Rodriguez, and Jonathan Wald oversee programming and news operations, with Brian Williams serving as the channel's chief anchor of breaking news coverage. As of February 2015, approximately 94,531,000 households in the United States (81.2 percent of those with television) were receiving MSNBC.Commentators have described MSNBC as having a bias towards left-leaning politics and the Democratic Party. In November 2007, a New York Times article stated that MSNBC's prime-time lineup is tilting more to the left. Washington Post media analyst Howard Kurtz has stated that the channel's evening lineup "has clearly gravitated to the left in recent years and often seems to regard itself as the antithesis of Fox News". In 2011, Salon.com noted that "MSNBC’s prime-time lineup is now awash in progressive politics." Others have argued that MSNBC has a bias against progressive politics. Phil Donahue's show was canceled in 2003 due to his opposition to the Iraq War, and Donahue later commented that the management of MSNBC required that "we have two conservative (guests) for every liberal. I was counted as two liberals." Cenk Uygur, after his departure from MSNBC in 2011, said that MSNBC management had told him "people in Washington" were "concerned about [his] tone," and that he "didn't want to work in a place that didn't challenge power." The cancellation of Ed Schultz's show has also been pointed to as an indication of MSNBC's right-leaning bias.

I offered to have her production company ‘produce’ the show. Would give her some proxy control and a f-ckton of money but she and [former MSNBC boss] Phil Griffin refused, i do not expect to continue negotiations with the successors to this management team.
The American public are trying to sift their way through what's real and what’s fake, and I don’t think as I’ve ever seen a time when the political coverage- the choice of what political coverage the voter looks to has much impact on what they believe. They go to get reinforced on their views, whether it's MSNBC or whether it's Fox.
Co-host Joy Behar, who was recently forced to apologize for mocking Vice President Mike Pence’s Christian faith, even pressed Avenatti on whether or not there is actually evidence regarding claims that Stormy Daniels ' was threatened. MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough is about as anti-Trump as anyone in mainstream media. The former Republican congressman disassociated himself from the GOP amid disagreements with the president and is now a registered Independent. His co-host and fianc, MikaBrzezinski, questions Trump’s mental health on a regular basis and has been on the receiving end of personal attacks from Trump’s Twitter account. But despite the on-going feud with Donald Trump at all, the MSNBC star had a hard time believing some of the details alleged by Stormy Daniels ' after Michael Avenatti built up anticipation. [ Avenatti ] told us two weeks ago that she was threatened with assault and we would find out more on ‘ 60 Minutes, ’ when in fact we found out nothing new on ‘ 60 Minutes. ’.
He was ticketed for violating a traffic control signal, he’s not here today from what I’m told and I have instructed that no one from MSNBC News will be permitted in this building for the duration of this trial, this is a very serious matter and I don’t know what the ultimate truth of it is but, absolutely, it would go without much thinking that someone who is following the jury bus, that is an extremely serious matter and will be referred to the proper authorities for further action.
I have made Fox and CNN so much money, and MSNBC, so much money.
