Wikipedia
containership
A container ship (also called boxship or spelled containership) is a cargo ship that carries all of its load in truck-size intermodal containers, in a technique called containerization. Container ships are a common means of commercial intermodal freight transport and now carry most seagoing non-bulk cargo. Container ship capacity is measured in twenty-foot equivalent units (TEU). Typical loads are a mix of 20-foot (1-TEU) and 40-foot (2-TEU) ISO-standard containers, with the latter predominant. Today, about 90% of non-bulk cargo worldwide is transported by container ships, and the largest modern container ships can carry up to 24,000 TEU (e.g., Ever Ace). Container ships now rival crude oil tankers and bulk carriers as the largest commercial seaborne vessels.

containership
Containership refers to a concept in object-oriented programming where a class contains references to other classes in the form of instance variables, thus forming a has-a relationship. This type of relationship allows classes to be designed with reusable and maintainable code. Containership can also refer to a practice where objects are stored inside container classes such as arrays, lists, or maps. In a more general context, containership may also refer to the transportation of goods in a container or the industry involved in this form of transport.
Dictionary of Military and Associated Terms
containership
A ship specially constructed and equipped to carry only containers without associated equipment, in all available cargo spaces, either below or above deck. Containerships are usually non-self-sustaining, do not have built-in capability to load or off-load containers, and require port crane service. A containership with shipboard-installed cranes capable of loading and off-loading containers without assistance of port crane service is considered self-sustaining.
