    Bryne is a city located in, and the administrative centre of, the municipality of Time, Norway. Bryne is located about 25 minutes south of Stavanger by train. The area of Bryne is 4,79 km². The municipality of Time, Norway has 15,459 inhabitants and the "urban settlement" itself 9,627. Its location in the prospering region of Stavanger/Sandnes and excellent traffic links make Bryne an attractive area for commuters, it is, as of July 2005, expanding rapidly and there have been reports of problems with schooling capacity.
