Freak might be from romanian/ albanian ,frica'( fear) a word inherited from Dacian Cohorts Aelia I Dacorum stationed at Birdoswald.

There's also Boier in Romanian, considered.....Slavic????
Or, you know, the actor Charles Boyer....

There's is a mind blowing etymology for strumming.
In Romanian the chords are also called ,strune'( a struni/ to strum)
It's basically ' suna'/ sounds+ 'tr' from ,tremura,tremble,tremolo

Carpii in Italy I could have been formed in ad 600 by relocated Carpii tribe pushed out of Pannonia.( The Romans moved some Carpii to Pannonia after their defeat)
Or maybe after the tree ,carpinus betulus'?

Also missed romanian , ingropata'( burried)
It is in Albanian too ,gropa( hole),but in romanian is with suffix ,pata'
Pata as well ,petic'( see occitan petac) might have the key explanation for ,sapat,sapata/ digging and ,lopata'( shovel) that ,pata' also means place,soil, matter.
La pata( at the spot/ soil) better than Lithuanian etymology , lapas'( leaf)
