Roberto de Visiani (1800-1878) (in Croatian: Robert Visiani) was an Italian botanist, naturalist and scholar. He is seen as one of the fathers of modern botany in Italy. The standard author abbreviation Vis. is used to indicate this person as the author when citing a botanical name.
