ulmus pumila
Ulmus pumila, commonly known as the Siberian Elm, is a species of tree in the Ulmaceae family. Native to eastern Asia, specifically the regions of Mongolia, China, and Siberia, it can grow up to 15-20 meters tall. It is characterized by its vigorous growth, small leaves, and resistance to harsh conditions. Over time, it has been widely introduced to other parts of the world and is often used as a windbreak or for timber and fuel. However, due to its invasive nature, it can pose a threat to native plant species.
