I am curious to find out if this was named after the Talmadge family who were landowners in England and sent by King Steven to America. The Talmages are in other parts of America, and books have been written by a member of the Talmage family. We have a village here in England named Stoke Talmage that was part of the Talmages estate and there is still an Earl Tollemache of Helmingham hall. I would be very interested for any information on this. My email is mtalmage@hotmail.co.uk
