Examples of subdivisions in a Sentence

  1. Bill Newsom:

Everyone is affected. Entire subdivisions and neighborhoods … some are just wiped away, they’re just not even there, it looks like a battle zone.

  2. Carlton Ward Jr.:

With that pressure, most farms and ranches are going to be subdivisions in our lifetime, houses are the final crop.

  3. Matt Kauffman:

Once you map a route then you can start to see some of the obstacles these animals face, you can see where they have to cross highways, you can see where they have to cross fences. You can see where they have to navigate through rural subdivisions. And so that sort of detailed mapping also allows you to see where some of the solutions are to making some of those migrations easier.

  4. Tuwanna Dennis:

It's so important because this is our land, our neighborhoods look like they look because there is no one there to teach them home preservation. If you go to the suburbs, there are subdivisions, there are homeownership associations that keep their areas together. And when we go through our neighborhoods, we see 20 houses on the block abandoned. The ones that are still there probably are close to being abandoned, just because they have no way of keeping the preservation of their homes up. So I think homeownership is key.

  5. Paul Osman:

You look at the media images and you see new subdivisions, new strip malls and new buildings with water up to the rooftop. Those are red flags in my mind. Those shouldn’t be happening.
