  1. spin-off

A spin-off is a type of corporate action where a company creates a new independent entity or company by selling or distributing new shares of its existing business or division. The new company, known as the spinoff, operates independently with its own assets, employees, and management, but it can still be partially owned by the parent company. Spin-offs are typically used to boost shareholder value, improve strategic focus, or enable a newly created or existing division to perform business operations separately from the parent company. This term can also refer to new products, series, or franchises derived from an existing work in media and entertainment industry.

It wouldn't be a stretch and it wouldn't be inorganic, I don't think.
