  1. Magnetization, Limit of

    As the induction of magnetizing force increases, magnetization of paramagnetic metals tends towards a limit, the increase in magnetization being continually less and less as the metal becomes more highly magnetized. In diamagnetic substances no limit is discernible. Synonym--Maximum Magnetization.
