Fabiana imbricata is a heath-like evergreen shrub in the family Solanaceae, native to Chile. It grows to 2.5 m tall and wide in moist, sandy soils. It has needle-like leaves and small white, tubular flowers in early summer. In tropical areas it is grown outside in yards and gardens. In places with cold winters it requires winter protection, or it can be grown as a houseplant. The form F. imbricata f. violacea bears masses of pale violet flowers, and has gained the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit.
