Delicado
"Delicado" is a popular song published in 1952 with music by Valdir Azevedo and lyrics by Jack Lawrence. A version recorded by Percy Faith and his orchestra reached number one on the Billboard charts in 1952. Stan Kenton and Dinah Shore recorded successful cover versions. Dr. John recorded a New-Orleans style version on Dr. John Plays Mac Rebennack Vol. 1. Oscar Alemán recorded a version for guitar. Jacob do Bandolim recorded a version on mandolin. A version was also recorded by the British bandleader and conductor Stanley Black. Tito Cortés recorded a version which included lyrics.
