    A candy bar is a type of candy that is in the shape of a bar. The most common type of candy bar is the chocolate bar, including both bars made of solid chocolate and combination candy bars, which are candy bars that combine chocolate with other ingredients, such as nuts, caramel, nougat, or wafers. Many varieties of candy bars exist, and many are mass-produced. Between World War I and the middle of the 20th century, approximately 40,000 brands of candy bars were introduced.

    CandyBar is an unsupported Mac OS X application by Panic and The Iconfactory. The application replaces system icons with icons/docks of the user's choice. The final release of CandyBar runs on Mac OS X 10.8 "Mountain Lion" It also integrates Pixadex, an icon cataloging application that was previously sold separately. You can download many kinds of icons and docks from the Iconfactory website. CandyBar is the successor to The Iconfactory's iControl program for Mac OS 8 and 9. The company's website announced in August 2012 that the application would no longer be supported, and offered it as a free download.
