    The Village of Brookville is a village located within the town of Oyster Bay in Nassau County, New York. As of the 2010 United States Census, the village population was 3,465. The village is the home of the C. W. Post Campus of Long Island University and the Post campus's nationally known cultural venue, the Tilles Center. The Long Island Lutheran Middle and High School is also located in the village. BusinessWeek dubbed Brookville the wealthiest town in America. Daniel Serota is the current Mayor, and was elected to the position on March 19, 2013. Serota is also a prominent businessman and real estate developer.
