The general concensous is, there is no accepted word as "welp". One can use it as a nonsensical "interjection" such as a yell or a scream, but it has no literary meaning------and, there is no acceptable uses for the word, especially, if one is attempting to communicate about critical issues. Now, can we get back to the orginal discussion?
