    The following is a list of secondary fictional characters from the science fiction media franchise Dune created by Frank Herbert. The characters listed originate in Herbert's novel series (1965–1985), but some also appear in the Prelude to Dune prequel series written by Herbert's son Brian Herbert and science fiction author Kevin J. Anderson.

    Stilgar is a fictional character in the Dune universe created by Frank Herbert. He appears in the novels Dune, Dune Messiah and Children of Dune. The character's early life is explored in Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson's Prelude to Dune prequel trilogy, and the character returns in the form of a ghola in their conclusion to the original series, Sandworms of Dune. He appears in the prequels Paul of Dune and The Winds of Dune. Stilgar was played by actors Everett McGill in the 1984 film Dune, Uwe Ochsenknecht in the 2000 miniseries Frank Herbert's Dune, and by Steven Berkoff in the 2003 sequel miniseries Children of Dune.
