Examples of Referees in a Sentence

  1. Lutz Michael Froehlich:

This is clearly defined as illegal conduct as per Law 12 and does not have anything to do with any political message, it is hardly possible for referees to register political, religious or personal slogans, messages or images during a game.

  2. David Elleray:

We wanted to bring some common sense to the laws, to reflect what football expects the referees to do today and eliminate the confusion in the game, we are giving referees the licence to be closer to the understanding and spirit of the game. We have to move forward. Everyone believes we have been talking too long about these changes and now we have to see what benefits they will bring.

  4. Jaimie Fuller:

If you look at rugby and the way rugby referees are treated by players, they are treated with respect, you look at a football game, and it's appalling and that is one of the areas of leadership that we see that the whole football community is not showing.

I have every expectation that if this is a close election, whether its Democrat or Republican, the lawyers will be involved and itwill be acrimonious. We have been there before. The 2000 election was a thing, i think to Mollys point, I think to the larger issue, we are having a hard time and its a little bit in both parties, we dont trust the gatekeepers, we dont trust the referees... We dont have the confidence that people will accept outcomes. But, I have every confidence we will have a decisive election and that the loser will lose and the winner will win.
