    Oso is a census-designated place in Snohomish County, Washington, United States located west of Darrington, Washington, south of the North Fork of the Stillaguamish River and approximately 50 air miles from Seattle. The population of Oso was 180 at the 2010 census. The site of the 2014 Oso mudslide is 4 miles east of Oso.
