Examples of Moments in a Sentence

  1. Paul Manafort:

There were moments that I will talk about this in the book when they were putting pressure on me to admit the facts that weren't true, and I'll talk about those facts and those expectations. The quid pro quo that was understood was that I would be treated in a very lenient way, they didn't understand that there was no way I was going to lie and there was no way that they could force me into giving up the president. I never felt uncomfortable talking to them because I knew that as long as I told the truth, I had nothing to fear, but I was wrong.

  2. Oleksandr Kovalov:

These are the moments that we were worried about, a moment of trust. When we did everything so that the two sides came together, looked into each other’s eyes, the Russian side promised that there would be a civilized exit for our soldiers.

  3. Sylvester Turner:

This is one of those moments that we say drive people’s souls. The death of Sabika and nine others are impacting people all over the world.

  4. Liviu Matei:

There are exceptional moments in history, which show with clarity − and often with brutality − that what happens in or around universities is symptomatic of profound, unresolved troubles in the broader society. Hungary is traversing such a moment.

  5. Joseph Janik:

Some days he comes in and hes been on the jackhammer for six hours, and hes beat, so we have to adjust the training. Its definitely not ideal. Id much rather if he got up and had a latte, did some Pilates and some cryo(therapy) and then came to the gym. But he likes it. He likes the guys that he works with. I think it helps keep him focused, and he appreciates his moments in boxing even more.
